
SCHOLARSHIP AND BURSARY
HONORARY SCHOLARSHIP
At Coast Education, we believe that excellence in academia should be rewarded and recognised. We strive to provide the highest standards in Education, and as such, we offer an Honorary Scholarship Programme to a few select students who can demonstrate ability in critical thinking and academic excellence. Honorary Scholars receive financial reductions in course fees of up to 10%, as well as holding the prestigious title of Honorary Scholar (HS). They will receive a certified reference at the end of the summer course confirming they have been a Scholar, which can be used for future school or university applications. Scholars will also receive a graduation certificate.

Available to attend our Oxford Summer Course in 2023.

Eligible to live and study in the UK for the duration of the programme.
Selection criteria:

Honorary Scholarships will be awarded based on merit.
You will have to complete an essay as part of the application process. The essay should answer one of the following questions:

What makes a successful leader?
-
What is the most important invention of the 21st Century?
The maximum word limit is 500 words. There is no minimum word limit. The essay will have to be uploaded as a separate document in the form. We recommend you draft your essay in advance.
BURSARY PROGRAMME
Students seeking financial aid may apply for a Bursary with Coast Education. If the bursary is awarded to the student, the student will receive up to 100% reduction of the course fee for attending our Oxford Summer Course 2023.

Available to attend our Oxford Summer Course in 2023.

Eligible to live and study in the UK for the duration of the programme.

Be able to prove financial hardship.
Selection criteria:

Bursary will be awarded based on financial needs.
Financial proof requirement:
This will be assessed on a case by case basis. You will have to meet one or more of the following criteria

Show that you would otherwise be unable to attend the course

Attending a fee-paying school with scholarship/bursary

In receipt of financial assistance scheme from government

Receiving free school meals

HOW TO APPLY?

Key information to note:

Applications are opened on 4th November 2022.

The deadline for completing the scholarship and bursary application form is 09:00 (UK) on 18th April 2023.

It is recommended that you complete your essay question in advance of submitting your form as you will be unable to save your form before submitting it.

Applicants must submit their essay response, school report, reference letter, and financial proof (for bursary applicants only) in one form of submission.

Successful applicants will be offered a full or partial reduction in the participation fee to attend the Coast Education Oxford Summer Course 2023.

Scholarships and Bursaries are valid for participation in the Oxford Summer Course 2023 only and cannot be exchanged or transferred for a cash equivalent or alternative course.

Applicants will be contacted on or before 30th April 2023 with the outcome of the scholarship or bursary application.

Successful applicants must respond to accept or decline their offer by 17:00 (UK) on 7th May 2023
